Behind MVP Rex Grossman, JJ Takes the Bears All the Way!

1st Qtr:

Bears elect to kick. Colts go 3 and out, netting 0 yards, and punt from their 19. Bears get a couple firsts and then hit Berrian on my favorite play (Blix you know the one) from 24 yards out. 7-0 Bears. Colts have trouble doing anything yet again and end up throwing a pick to Hester (only in cause Sincer had gone deep before - cb5 for me) who takes it in for 6. 14-0 bears.

2nd:

Colts, facing 3rd and 10 from their own 25 or so, hit Harrison on a quick slant to avoid a blowout. Then methodically move down with Mr. BTK Addai (he had 9 unofficially!!!) and hit Gonzalez on a slant up the middle (I think) when Manning had 10 secs to pass despite a 5 man rush. 14-7 Bears. Chicago can do nothing as the oline just crumbles under the Colts rush. Colts move down basically in the same way and hit Gonzalez again on 3rd down to even the game with just 24 ticks left in the half. 14-14. Hester fumbles the kickoff and I'm like fuck me wtf!!! Not SB VI all over again!! But no, it gets reversed. HUGE!! Bears hit Hester and Berrian all over the place and get to the 48 with 4 secs left and no timeouts. Rex gets time, good pocket forms, Muhammed has the outside but is doubled. Rex heaves it to the RZ and somehow Muhammed comes down with it. Could have been out of bounds, not sure. But no replay. 21-14 Bears at the half.

3rd:

Bears could do nothing in the 3rd. Colts managed a 31 yard fg after having 1st and goal from the 4. Ouch!

4th:

Long, time-consuming drive ends with a Wolfe 2 yd scamper to make it 28-17 with about 2 mins left. Game over, right? Nope. Jennings returns the subsequent kickoff 104 freakin yards!! The left side got sealed, I took control of Gould to force him inside so no less than 3 guys could take care of him. But NO, Sincer made some kind of herky jerky move that made all my guys just stop running for a split second and he was gone. 2 pt conversion makes it a fg gm. Then Sincer played a little cat/mouse and acted like he was gonna onside it with 2 min left. I had to honor it and call timeout. Of course he kicked it off after that lol, but I'm not gonna lose the SB cause I wouldnt call a TO. Colts force the Bears to 3rd and 10, but Grossman playmakers it (are you kidding me?!?!??!) and throws it perfectly behind the defender right to Hester for the first and more to about the Bears 45 with 1 min left. I wasnt sure about how many TOs Sincer had left at this pt so I ran another play, got stuffed, then got off a screen to Berrian who took it 53 yards to seal the deal. 35-25 Bears.
